Indian citizens do not need a passport or visa for Nepal. A valid voter ID, Aadhaar (photo ID) or a passport is sufficient for entry through Sunauli / Raxaul border.
What is the best time to visit Nepal?
October to December and February to April offer the clearest mountain views. Chitwan safaris are best in the drier winter months.
